FAQs

  • We are a transaction fee based brokerage. You pay a small fee for your first 4 transactions annually until you meet our annual cap. After the cap is met, you keep 100% of your commission.

  • Yes we do provide leads to agents who are interested.

  • We have a reasonable annual cap that is met on the first 4 transactions you close in a year. Instead of commission splits, we collect transaction fees with those first four transactions, but once our cap is met, you keep 100% of your commission.

  • Yes!

  • We do provide a CRM at an additional cost. Working within our CRM is not required though so if you already have systems that work for you, you are free to keep using them.

  • We are a virtual brokerage and do not have a physical office at this time. Having an office would greatly increase our overhead costs. This would limit the savings we pass on to our agents by letting them keep 100% of their commissions.

  • We have a weekly 30 minute Google Meets call. During this call we usually cover a quick educational point and then discuss our agent’s buyers and sellers needs. These calls are not mandatory, but highly encouraged.

  • At Homegrown Real Estate we want you to be successful on your terms not ours! If you’d like to use our branding, that’s great! We’re here to support you. If not and you’d like to brand yourself, you are free to do that as long as you adhere to the rules set forth by the SC Real Estate Licensing Board.

  • No you do not have to be a full time Realtor to join HGRE. We are here to support you regardless if you work full time or part time in real estate. While we prefer our agents to close 4 real estate transactions a year, that’s not required. Additional fees for license holding may apply if you close less transactions. Regardless, we are here to support you in reaching your professional goals, no matter how big or small they might be.

  • We do not offer formal training like some of the national brokers. However, at Home Grown Real Estate, you will find a knowledgeable and supportive broker who has built a collaborative team of Realtors. If there is something you need help with, we are happy to have a one-to-one sit down.
